Marvel Studios recently held its world premiere for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Kevin Feige almost dropped a spoiler while being interviewed on the red carpet.
The MCU maestro was asked about Jonathan Majors' performance as the villainous Kang the Conqueror, and stopped just short of saying a little too much about the role the character will play in Phase 5 and the Multiverse Saga.
“[Majors] is such a versatile actor, he’s getting a lot of great acclaim in numerous movies coming out around this time, and we’ve already... I almost gave you a big spoiler!”
What was he going to say? It's obviously impossible to know for sure, but based on Feige's comments about Kang's MCU future, we'd hazard a guess that he was about to reveal that they've already shot more Kang scenes for an upcoming project we weren't aware he was going to appear in.
That doesn't really narrow it down too much, especially as Kang is going to be so integral to this next Phase of the MCU, but check out the video for yourselves and let us know what you think.
Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
Directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
The sci-fi adventure opens in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.
