We first met Randall Park's Agent Jimmy Woo in Ant-Man and The Wasp. Tasked with keeping an eye on Scott Lang, he spent most of that movie doing his best to ensure Ant-Man wasn't breaking the Sokovia Accords. Jimmy isn't a bad guy, though; just an honest FBI Agent looking to do the right thing.
That's the case in WandaVision as well, and after getting to spend a little more time with the character, fans are anxious to see more of Jimmy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.
During a recent interview with ExtraTV, Park was asked what the future could hold in store for Jimmy, and whether he'll be part of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Unfortunately, it sounds like he is also waiting to hear what may or may not come next for his character in this shared world.
"I don't know. I haven't gotten the call," he confessed. "If I do get the call, I'm on it. If I don't get the call, that's fine too because I'm in Westview, New Jersey right now. You know, gotta focus on one case at a time."
That's a good answer, and one that cleverly avoids giving anything away about Jimmy's MCU future. Kat Denning has confirmed that she's shot something else for Marvel Studios, and there are plenty of places Park's FBI Agent could show up post-WandaVision. With Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania shaping up to be an adventure that takes Scott and company into the Quantum Realm, there's probably no place for Jimmy.
We'll keep you guys updated when and if we hear more about Jimmy's future.
