Did ZERO DARK THIRTY's Jessica Chastain Pass On The Lead Female Role In ANT-MAN?
While commitments to another movie now means that she is no longer in the mix, rumour has it that Marvel Studios were at one point keen to have Zero Dark Thirty and Interstellar star Jessica Chastain play the lead female role in Edgar Wright's Ant-Man...
According to the ever reliable Elmayimbe of Latino-Review, Jessica Chastain was at one point being considered for the lead female role in Edgar Wright's Ant-Man. Common sense says that it will be Janet Van Dyne, a.k.a. The Wasp, a part which I Love You Man's Rashida Jones has already been rumoured to be up for. As of right now, Paul Rudd and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are the only candidates we know of in the running for the titular role of the pint-sized superhero. What we do now know is that Jessica Chastain will sadly NOT be in the movie. Check out the Tweets below...
