This THE DARK KNIGHT Star Says ANT-MAN Could "Totally" Kick BATMAN's Ass

A supporting actor best known for his role in The Dark Knight talks here about his role in Ant-Man and suggests that DC's Caped Crusader would be no match for Marvel's pint-sized hero. Check it out!

When Entertainment Tonight caught up with David Dastmalchian at the Hollywood premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron earlier this week, the actor best known to the CBM community as one of the Joker's henchmen in The Dark Knight had discussed his transition from DC to Marvel in the Ant-Man adaptation. "That's like a badge of honor for me," he said. "I'm a comic book nut, I have been my whole life, so to have worked in both universes is pretty cool. That was one of the first things that one of the [Marvel] producers said: 'One of those guys who has done both world'"

When asked who would win in a fight between Ant-Man and Batman, David Destmalchian said without any hesitation: "Oh Ant-Man would totally kick Batman's ass." Considering the actor took a beating from Christian Bale's Caped Crusader in The Dark Knight, could Destmalchian's response indicate that he will go up against (and lose to?) Paul Rudd's size-shifting superhero too? "I can't say if I'm good or bad yet," he began, "but I can tell you my name is Kurt. I'm part of a crew, I work with a little team, which includes Michael Pena - wonderful actor who plays Luis. And T.I., who plays Dave. Our role in the adventure is yet to be revealed publicly I think, but it's pretty fun."

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film opens July 17, 2015

Well, if he's talking about Nolan's Batman, then he'd be correct.

Lets not kid ourselves, Nolan's Batman was nothing more than a glorified street brawler.

He would whoop Nolan's Batman's ass around like he's a child.

But if we're talking about the comics Batman and the Batman we're getting in Batman v Superman Antman is getting his ass beat.

Now if we're talking comic book interpretations, implying Batman would be defeated by Ant-Man is ludicrous.

We have'nt even seen anything from Batman's Snyder... not sure why you think he would be able to beat Ant-Man when chances are he'll get beaten hard by Superman.

Lol at these people scoffing about how Nolan's Batman would lose. if we're talking comic Batman than either would win because nothing is ever consistent with any of these characters. It all depends on what the writer wants and writes.

Captain America defeated Giant Man. So the notion that he could simply squash him is, well, false.

Very funny.

I'm going by what we saw Superman do in MoS and Batman is gonna have to go against that.

And the stunt/fight coordinator said this is gonna be a methodical Batman that fights just like the comics.
