AQUAMAN CinemaCon Footage Impresses Attendees; Features Black Manta, Ocean Master And Much More
Aquaman director James Wan screened some unfinished scenes from his upcoming DC flick at CinemaCon, and the reactions have been very positive indeed. Find out what the footage entailed after the jump...
Though he didn't bring a finished teaser with him, James Wan did screen some footage from Aquaman tonight at CinemaCon, and even though the scenes contained unfinished FX, they seemed to go down very well.
The first-look included Jason Momoa's King of Atlantis pulling a submarine out of the water, various ferocious-looking deep-sea creatures, and lots of underwater shots. In addition, attendees got first glimpses of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta and Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master.
Aquaman also got a couple of one-liners, including: “I'm a blunt instrument, and I am damned good at it."
Since this wasn't an official trailer, it's unlikely that anything will release online, but we'll be sure to update if that changes. In the meantime, check out some Twitter reactions below.
