The cast of Aquaman has added one more today as it's been revealed that Chinese actor Ludi Lin will be taking on the role of Murk in the upcoming DC Comics adaptation. He now joins a packed out cast which includes Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen. Murk debuted during Geoff Johns' acclaimed comic book run on Aquaman in 2013.
The leader of Atlantis' front-line army the Men-of-War, he initially served Arthur Curry's brother, Orm, and later served Aquaman. However, he secretly disobeyed Atlantean law and showed loyalty to Orm as he believed Orm was the true leader of Atlantis. Chances are the movie could follow a similar path with him betraying Aquaman, but it sounds like we should expect him to have a decent role here.
