New promo artwork for James Wan's Aquaman movie has found its way online, and it gives us new looks at Mera, Black Manta, and Arthur Curry in his comic-accurate orange and green costume. Check it out...

Some new Aquaman promotional art has turned up online, and it gives us another look at Jason Momoa's King of Atlantis sporting his orange and green comic book-inspired costume.

We have seen glimpses of this in previous promo images, but this full body shot is by far our best look yet. Apparently, Arthur Curry dons the armor towards the end of the movie.

In addition, there are new images of Mera (Amber Heard) and the villainous Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).







Aquaman swims into theaters on December 21.

@sixthsense - TBH I think Aquaman has the best costume in all of DCEU if this is how it really looks. Besides the missing "A" on his belt this is probably their most accurate costume. Mamoa is naturally big too so there doesn't seem to be too much muscle padding like Cavill and Affleck had in BVS/JL and the actor playing Shazam.

@RolandD - a body builder named Rossano Rea was used as the "muscle cast (muscle padding)" for afflecks batman suit. He says "It's my body and my muscles and it was constructed after me."With all due respect to Ben, we are the same height but he doesn't have the width and the size and the definition and the mature muscle that I've got. I've been working out since I have been 15 years old. So he's a pretty beefy guy but I've been doing it for much longer and they probably thought that my physique would be more appropriate to display (as Batman)."

@RolandD - Cavill has a muscle suit too. His muscle suit wasn't as over-the-top like Affleck's because Cavill already has a big physique. His muscle suit was more for definition and to slightly increase the bulk in the chest, arm, and thigh. Not criticizing them for padding up because every actor does it, but DC tends to be overdo it too much to the point it looks fake. Zachary Levi's Shazam and Affleck's batman muscle padding looks terrible.

@mastakilla39 - I've always disliked the fact that they added more padding and definition to Cavill's suit after MOS. It was perfect back then.



As for Shazam, I think they might have wanted it to look a bit fake.

Probably the biggest froth of this movie for me - Kinda wish Wan got to do a couple movies with these characters isolated completely from the DCEU or part of a new rebooted franchise cuz all the characters are so distinctive looking now

@blitzburgh - Of course Flash looked like shit. He's a kid who doesn't know how to design a suit. Harley isn't a modest woman, so I doubt she'll care if you slut-shame her. The point is they don't look the same. I look at Captain Marvel and I find it hard to believe she didn't steal that suit out of Ant Man's closet.

And if she did, she should have stolen a better-looking one.
