AQUAMAN Set Photos And Video Offer Up A First Look At Iconic DC Location
Some photos from the Australian set of Aquaman take us to an iconic comic book location and offer up some hints about both what's to come and what looks like it will be a key action sequence...
Thanks to the Gold Coast Bulletin, we have a first look at photos and video from the set of Aquaman. According to the site, Jason Momoa (not pictured, sadly) and his stunt double were at a set doubling for Amnesty Bay this weekend alongside actors playing some pretty mean looking bikers. Could it be that the King of Atlantis will get into a bar fight when they make fun of his ability to talk to fish?
That sounds like something we'd see in the comic books and Amnesty Bay will obviously be a location instantly familiar to fans of the source material. It's where Arthur Curry was raised by his father.
Speaking of which, the site mentions that, "while Momoa was filming at The Spit, co-star Temuera Morrison and newcomer Otis Dhanji were busy at work at Village Roadshow Studios, filming in the studio’s outdoor water tank." Morrison has been cast as Aquaman's father, while Dhanji is taking on the role of the young Arthur. We'll hopefully see more from the set of Aquaman in the next few days.
