AQUAMAN Star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II Promises There's A Publicity Plan To Release The Trailer For The DCEU Film

Footage for James Wan's upcoming Aquaman is being kept very close to the chest with the Furious 7  director stating that he doesn't want to show anything until he's 100% happy with it and its ready for an audience, so much so that he was against Warner Bros decision to show footage from the film at last months' CinemaCon.

That footage, however, received such overwhelmingly positive reactions that fans around the world are now clamoring, even more, to see a trailer for the film. The Get Down actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has now responded to the numerous requests to see a trailer, promising that there's a plan in place and that it will be worth it.

Aquaman will hit theatres on 21st December 2018.

What do you think? Are you excited by what you've heard of Aquaman? Are you highly anticipating the trailer?  Leave your thoughts below.

"Oh yeah, there's a plan, it's just that no one at WB knows what it is yet."

No rush! There are sooooo many films that need to be plugged and hyped and it’s not even June yet.

Just make sure those Great White Shark riding Armor Cladded Atlantean Soldiers of War effects are dope and we are good to go.

Most likely Comic Con which is good since Marvel is taking a step back after A3.

We know how this works. We aren’t idiots. You don’t have to explain how a trailer works, or that there is a marketing plan. We know.

They probably just need more time for cgi

I don’t care about the trailer. All I want is that the movie redeems the DCEU to it’s possible potential and starts to get it back on track.
No way they should reboot this. At least the casting is really solid!
