AQUAMAN: The First Trailer Takes Us To The Depths Of Atlantis And Promises 2018's Most Epic Superhero Movie

We've been treated to some amazing superhero movies in 2018 but not even the likes of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War may be able to compete with Aquaman when it comes to mind-blowing visuals. As you can see below, the Justice League character's solo outing is going to be a totally different DC movie to what's come before (are you sensing a theme with this and Shazam!?) but that's not a bad thing because director James Wan has clearly delivered a truly epic take on the aquatic superhero.

It appears as if this trailer is quite a bit different to the one shown as CinemaCon because there are loads of moments in here which haven't been talked about before now, including a lot of action beats and some pretty mind-blowing shots of Aquaman and Mera taking on The Trench and Black Manta.

The visual effects definitely look a little unfinished in places but there are months to go until Aquaman hits
theaters so there's plenty of time to polish those. What do you guys think about this epic first trailer? Are you more excited for the movie now? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
