Aquaman is now right around the corner and excitement is rapidly building for the DC Comics adaptation. That epic five-minute sneak peek probably won't be the final preview we get for the movie and it's safe to assume that at least one more trailer will be released before December 21st gets here, especially as the marketing campaign is rapidly kicking off.
That's why Aquaman is on the cover of the latest issue of Total Film Magazine and inside are some brand new stills. We have a selection of those here for you today and among them is a very cool shot of Willem Dafoe as Vulko.
The character (who it's believed will serve as a mentor to the young Arthur Curry) was spotted ever so briefly in the first trailer and poster but we finally have a proper look at him as he rides his formidable looking Hammerhead Shark into battle. There are also some great behind the scenes shots along with Orm on the back of his own undersea creature.

We've caught the odd glimpse of Vulko before now but this image finally offers a first look at Willem Dafoe's mentor to Arthur Curry as he sits atop a pretty formidable looking Hammerhead Shark.
In this very cool behind the scenes image, we see Jason Momoa and director James Wan observing the destruction in what appears to be the tomb our heroes track down that message from King Atlan in.
This awesome shot appears to show the villainous Ocean Master riding his own creature from the deep and it's quickly becoming clear that the underwater city of Atlantis will be no joke.
Jason Momoa and James Wan take a look back at some of the action and it appears as if this sequence will take place on the submarine where Aquaman first encounters Black Manta and his father.
The dynamic between Arthur and Mera has been compared to what we saw in Romancing the Stone and it's going to be a lot of fun seeing how their relationship develops over the course of the film.
Here, we see director James Wan showing Yahya Abdul-Mateen II how to put together his Black Manta armour. The villain is expected to have a small role here and a bigger one in the sequel.
Atlantis looks beautiful and while some fans were sceptical after seeing that first trailer as the VFX didn't quite look up to scratch. In that new sneak peek, there's no denying that they looked way better.
