Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse
The first social media reactions to Sony's animated Spidey adventure dropped this morning and were overwhelmingly positive. Can it possibly live up to the hype? We'll find out on December 14.
Mary Poppins Returns
Another release with very strong buzz behind it is Disney's Mary Poppins Returns - there's even early Academy Award chatter for Emily Blunt's performance as the magical nanny of the title. The sequel will be with us
Bumblebee
Can Bumblebee succeed where Michael Bay's Transformers movies failed and give fans a faithful interpretation of the classic franchise? Based on what we've seen from the trailers and director Travis Knight's masterful Kubo and the Two Strings, it's looking good.
Mortal Engines
This Peter Jackson-produced sci-fi fantasy flick looks like it could either be a very pleasant surprise, or an unmitigated disaster. Most seem to be betting on the latter, but we'll find out for sure on December 14.
Anna And The Apocalypse
Releasing on November 30, Ann and The Apocalypse focuses on a small town that must fight off a zombie attack over Christmas with the most effective weapon at their disposal: songs! Could be a quirky Holiday treat.
