James Wan's Aquaman (2018) doesn't begin filming for another couple of months, but that doesn't mean that the cast and crew aren't already hard at work. The director is evidently eager to let fans know that he's ready to bring the King of Atlantis and his underwater kingdom to life, as he's shared a new behind-the-scenes image of the main cast.
Earlier today, Wan took to his Twitter account to share the pic, which gives us a look at the cast of Aquaman during one of their first table reads. So he wouldn't spoil any casting news, Wan made sure to only include those we know about, which would be Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Amber Heard (Queen Mera), and Patrick Wilson (Ocean Master). However, Willem Dafoe, who has been confirmed to appear as Vulko in Zack Snyder's Justice League, seems to be missing.
Does this mean that Dafoe's Vulko won't show up in Aquaman? It more than likely doesn't, as could simply have been absent or may have been the one to snap the photo. We'll just have to wait and see how things play out for Vulko in Justice League.
Aquaman hits theatres October 5th, 2018.
