All signs are pointing to Henry Cavill hanging up his cape and walking away from the role of Superman following Justice League, but that doesn't mean the actor is going to stop supporting the DC Extended Universe! In a recent Instagram post, he shared his thoughts on Aquaman and was quick to congratulate Jason Momoa on a job well done.

The movie is still going from strength to strength at the box office and topped the $866 million mark yesterday which means it's beaten the likes of Venom and Thor: Ragnarok.

Last night, it should have also passed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Spider-Man: Homecoming and will crush $900 million today before reaching the $1 billion mark in a matter of weeks. As a result, a sequel announcement has to be coming and it wouldn't be at all surprising for it to splash down as soon as 2021.

What did you guys think of Aquaman? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section.
