Who Was The Mystery Woman In The AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer? Kevin Feige Reveals Her Identity!
Remember the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer that was released that showcased a mysterious women in a cave? I'm sure many of you who noticed speculated and tried to reveal who this was. Speculate no more, because Kevin Feige revealed her true identity! Check it out!
The second Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer released back in January showcased many action-packed sequences, and same great pieces of dialogue. Another thing this trailer showcased was a mysterious woman in a cave. If you're not familiar with her look at the image above, or check out the second trailer once more! After seeing this snippet, many speculated on who this might be. Most people said that she will have a definite connection to The Black Panther, while others thought she was going to have some sort of magical powers! Kevin Feige in a recent interview with Cinema Blend, debunked all those rumors and revealed that this lady is just a mere hallucination. "That was just the imagery. That was just interesting imagery as part of a dream sequence… It was part of when Thor was looking around at the oddity and the strangeness happening and it was just an image marketing grabbed."
There's a good chance that Thor's hallucinations could come from Scarlet Witch, but whatever the case is, this "mystery" lady won't have a pivotal part in the film. In fact, it is said that she will not appear in the film at all! Why would Marvel throw that in the trailer, were they just messing with our heads? Well, according to Kevin Feige, Marvel just thought that bit was a cool/interesting piece of footage. "Sometimes, not in that case. In that case it was just an arresting image which seemed interesting and when marketing presented it to us, we said, ‘Oh yeah, cool! This is great! Amazing, great work.’ And then it started to go out and I thought, ‘People are going to read into all this stuff.’"
So, I'm sure this debunked everyone else's theories. I sure know it debunked mines! Disappointed much? You shouldn't be because when Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters next month, I'm pretty sure you won't even notice she was missing! Sound off below with your thoughts!
