Avengers: Doomsday Reportedly Leaks In 4K Ahead Of Its Theatrical Release - But There's A Catch

A wild new leak suggests that a full version of Avengers: Doomsday is in the hands of a "reputable P2P uploader" ahead of the movie's release this December, but is this the real deal?

Following several noteworthy Avengers: Doomsday leaks—including an unfinished clash between Doctor Doom and the movie's heroes—it's hard not to wonder whether they're part of a coordinated marketing strategy to build excitement for the movie (if so, it's undoubtedly worked).

Now, though, Disney might be in serious trouble. HD versions of movies frequently leak on torrent sites either before or right as a new movie arrives in theaters. While it wasn't well-publicised, Coyote vs. ACME was available in 4K right before its opening weekend, a devastating blow to a title that was relying on people buying tickets.

Now, a "reputable P2P uploader" has claimed that they have a "2160p Screener copy of Avengers: Doomsday." The catch is that the file has no audio, but it would obviously still be catastrophic if all the movie's biggest moments suddenly started circulating on social media.

If that were to happen, then people would undoubtedly face far more dire consequences than a copyright strike on their social media account. However, the leaker has said they're going to wait for Avengers: Doomsday to hit theaters so they can distribute the movie with audio. If that happens, then it will obviously put a dent in repeat business heading into 2027.

How likely are these claims to be real? Well, Avengers: Doomsday only recently finished reshoots and is likely to be in post-production until as late as November, so we don't believe this uploader is really sitting on a fully completed copy of the movie.

On the other hand, if they have a source somewhere in distribution or a theater who has promised to provide them with a 4K copy of Avengers: Doomsday when it hits theaters on December 18, then more than CAM copies could flood torrent sites in the days that follow.

We'll have to wait and see, but Marvel Studios' security team is likely to be all over this.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway all make their Avengers franchise debuts.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn join them, along with X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden, plus Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz produced the movie, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18.

@HelloBoysImBack - The beginning (with Logan and Creed fighting throughout history) is the only good part of that film. It starts to go downhill from there

This article may as well have a red RUMOR tag on it. No "reputable P2P uploader" was directly mentioned that we should believe it; never mind what the validity is of the person who dropped the post on X.

@WEAPONXOXOXO - Don't worry. Tony Stark, uh, I mean Doctor Doom, will not be wearing his mask for 90% of the movie.

Greetings you [frick]ing Marvelites.

This "reputable" p2p source is me. Like I promised you all that I would leak everything about Brand New Day, I'm going to do the very same thing for Doomsday.

If the money is right, I'll unleash this crappy ass movie whenever the [frick] I want to.

Sure there was a leak for coyote versus Acme but that movie is 600,000 ahead of sheep detectives and in the end it will inevitably gain a profit, no thanks to Warner Brothers and the assholes who have tried really hard to not give credit where credit is due

Leakers are stepping up their game. I've seen the DCP copies of Hoppers, Toy Story, and Project Hail Mary leak. If they have the DCP file this will actually affect Disneys bottom line.
