Another DOCTOR STRANGE Cast Member Has Joined Benedict Cumberbatch In AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
Kevin Feige recently confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will appear in Avengers: Infinity War, but now another Doctor Strange cast member has revealed that they'll join the Sorcerer Supreme.
In the comic books, Doctor Strange often has Wong by his side, and the same looks set to be the case when the Sorcerer Supreme appears in Avengers: Infinity War a couple of years from now. Talking to ComicBook.com recently, Benedict Wong had this to say about reprising the role of Strange's mentor. "I'm thrilled I'm going to be in Infinity War. I'm looking forward to, I'll tell you that one first."
So, this is yet another character we can now add to the ever growing list of heroes who will be joining the fight against Thanos. Wong helping Strange out makes a lot of sense, though how significant his role will end up being obviously remains to be seen. It's probably just a cameo, but you have to believe that there's a chance we'll also see The Ancient One and Mordo led a hand against the Mad Titan.
Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. Set for release on November 4th, later this year, the cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwitel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton. Are you guys excited to see it?
