AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Passes $850 Million Globally; Now Almost Certain To Hit $1 Billion In Record Time
Another box office update here, this time for Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, which shows no signs of slowing down as it heads into its second weekend on general release & could well hit $1B by Saturday.
Short of Thanos getting snap happy again, it doesn't look like Avengers: Infinity War is going to cease its decimation of the box office both domestically and abroad any time soon.
AVENGERS 4: Let's Look At How The Team Is Shaping Up After The Events Of INFINITY WAR - SPOILERS Follow
The Russo Brothers-directed Marvel sequel currently sits at $857.3M, giving it an excellent chance of hitting $1 billion worldwide by Saturday, which will be its eleventh day on release.
If it does - and there's really no reason it wouldn't - Infinity War will have broken the record for the fastest film to reach that milestone, which is currently held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens (that reached $1B after 12 days).
