When Earth's Mightiest Heroes come together in 2018 for Avengers: Infinity War, not only will we see them fighting alongside each other, but we'll also see their worlds come together for the first time.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has been instrumental in helping directors Joe and Anthony Russo in bringing the cosmic side of the MCU to Earth. Now, it seems as though Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson will also be offering up his help in easing the Avengers into the magical side of the MCU.

Earlier today, Derrickson took to his social media accounts and released an image of himself working with director Joe Russo on the set of Infinity War. The image puts Russo and Derrickson inside Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum working on what appears to be the script. So not only could we see the return of the Sanctum Sanctorum, but we could also potentially see the Avengers dropping by and asking Strange and Wong to help in the fight against Thanos.

Are you excited to see Doctor Strange in the Sactum Sanctorum in Avengers: Infinity War?

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4th, 2018.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Taika best be on set at some point if Gunn and Scott got to collaborate with them. My boy Thor and Hulk deserve the best treatment in Infinity War. Valkyrie probably needs some guiding as well, she probably will have some strong Taika-isms in Ragnarok that need to be retained in it's unique way.

@RagnarGolem - if that's the date for the comic con panel, definitely.

@ODanil - It's before the Comic Con. I think the San Diego Comic Con is the best bet.

@LostProphet - His Instagram: "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is my new favorite superhero movie by a mile. It may have taken 13 years, but "Spider-Man 2" doesn't get to carry the title of best Spider-Man movie anymore"

HYPE, fan reactions, but still, at least he set Spider-Man 2 as the standard. It seems like the actual film is great, but the trailers are just...meh.

@RagnarGolem - There is such a short period with MCU films between now and next July when 'Ant-Man & the Wasp' is released -Marvel Studios will be promoting multiple films at any given time. There are 4 MCU films before the next SDCC. I wouldn't put it past the MCU to start promoting Infinity War earlier than normal.

I've also been expecting something from Infinity War to premiere at SDCC because this year is the only year Marvel can promote the film there. July 22nd is the date Marvel Studios should be having their panel so I've been anticipating something then. Just not sure if it will be an SDCC exclusive or released to the public.

Nice. I love how collaborative this whole process is. Everybody's working together to make their way towards the same goal: make the best movie they possibly can.

Gonna be great to see all the characters on screen together. Can just imagine how easy exposition writing would be with such a diverse group of characters. Infinity gems- Strange introduces the concept, Stark puts it in down-to-earth terms, Starlord puts it in cosmic terms.
