New AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR BTS Image Features The Return Of The Sanctum Sanctorum
Benedict Cumberbatch is set to reprise his role as Dr. Stephen Strange in Avengers: Infinity War, and thanks to Scott Derrickson, we now know that the Sanctum Sanctorum will make its return!
When Earth's Mightiest Heroes come together in 2018 for Avengers: Infinity War, not only will we see them fighting alongside each other, but we'll also see their worlds come together for the first time.
Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has been instrumental in helping directors Joe and Anthony Russo in bringing the cosmic side of the MCU to Earth. Now, it seems as though Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson will also be offering up his help in easing the Avengers into the magical side of the MCU.
Earlier today, Derrickson took to his social media accounts and released an image of himself working with director Joe Russo on the set of Infinity War. The image puts Russo and Derrickson inside Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum working on what appears to be the script. So not only could we see the return of the Sanctum Sanctorum, but we could also potentially see the Avengers dropping by and asking Strange and Wong to help in the fight against Thanos.
