Seems pretty much the same outside of the glow.
Man 2020 is a seriously shitty. All this, plus soon there there will probably nothing nee to watch, all the comic book movies are being pushed later and later into the year, and the arrowverse wont be back till 2021

Just wish they stuck with the design they had for him in the first teaser

@MeAreLegend - Yeah. I can understand/respect wanting have Spader bring more than just his voice to the role, but if they had pulled off the Jack-o'-lantern face from the comics, Ultron could have potentially been creepier (even with the same lines and mannerisms, which I honestly didn't mind at all) and become one of the iconic movie robots.

@FinnishDude - Agreed. I do understand that they wanted to humanize Ultron with facial expressions, but the Jack-o'-lantern face is just more menacing and creepier. Funny how his Ultron Bots look closer to that.

@MeAreLegend - I like this. One of my biggest complaints about the movie is that Ultron's mouth was to life like when he talked when he talked. WTF? At times he had a hint of having lips. But i think the fact that he had facial expressions at all made him look less sinister to me.

@MeAreLegend - I think they initially considered the Ultron Bots design to be the actual Ultron design.

Remember this EW magazine cover from July 2014:

It has an Ultron bot behind Cap and Stark and many people thought that was Ultron himself.

@90caliber - Agreed. What makes Ultron look so creepy and sinister to me is that he is a robot - and cant display emotions. Ultrons best looks in the movie were his first appearance in the destroyed Iron Man armor and his last appearance in an Ultron bot. Those looked way better and more menacing than his “humanoid” look imo

@kylo0607 - Oh yeah. They should have just used that design and just tweaked it a bit to make him stand out from the other bots.

@MeAreLegend - I think the decision was made to humanize him, so to speak, was for the sake of children. That pic you posted would have scared the shit out me as a child. Same as Darth Vader. Not in the movie though. I had no problem seeing him on screen. He popped up later on in a dream though. That was a different story. Lol.

God, I love that "only thing living in this world...will be metal" line

@teefurtree -
I preferred the cut version that was used for a teaser/tv spot: "The only thing living in this world... will be me"

Which fits more with the concept of Ultron him creating more and more bots, spreading and upgrading.
