Hi-Res AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Promo Art Shows Off Two More Members Of Thanos' Black Order

Yesterday, we got a first look at an amazing piece of Avengers: Infinity War promo art. Illustrated by comic book artist Ben Oliver, it featured a fresh look at Earth's Mightiest Heroes assembled alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy. Clearly inspired by the cover of the Infinity Gauntlet comic book, what we didn't see on that low-res version was another two members of Thanos' villainous Black Order.

Those are Black Dwarf (renamed Cull Obsidian in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Corvus Glaive. Not much is known about what any of them will be getting up to in the movie but they all look extremely formidable and will give the heroes someone to fight while the Mad Titan collects the Infinity Stones. The only one missing is Supergiant who the Russos decided to leave out of the movie.

What do you guys think of this Avengers: infinity War poster? Will the live-action versions be able to top this? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section below.

I still think Thanos without his helmet is stupid, they're just doing it so Josh Brolin's facial features are more defined. Movie still looks awesome though.

Any reason why Super Giant isn't in the Black Order and Black Dwarf's name was changed?

Damn I @ myself. I hate when I @ myself. Giving someone else a @ is so much better than giving myself a @. [frick]ing @ myself in my own mailbox.

I've been really anxious to see their portrayal of the black order. Unless they've done their homework, they truly don't know what they're getting themselves into. Let's look at this logically...

We know Gamora is one of the more "successful" children of Thanos. A favored of his. Her power level looks to be on Iron Man level. Fighting her would probably be like taking on a really strong Asgardian such as Sif (but not Thor). This is just all speculation because Guardians of the Galaxy has not thus far properly shown the team's capabilities. DRAX looks durable af (judging by him bouncing around through the forest in the sequel), Groot is durable and strong. Star Lord seems amplified due to his half-Celestial genes. Gamora can jump really high and land from high distances. She also seems to have heightened speed.

So with that said, let's say the remaining children of Thanos are on equal ground. I think Proxima can be taken out fairly easily by the trifecta of Cap, Falcon, and Widow. I forgot his name, but the scientist dude probably has "out-of-this-world" tech and strategies. Perfect matchup for Strange in a 1:1. Corvus is probably same strength level as Proxima. Then we have Cull Obsidian. he hasn't been shown yet. I bet his CG is taking the longest to perfect. Remember how HULK is rarely shown in the first promo teasers/trailers? They need time to perfect these big guys' CG. I bet Cull will be the [well, obvious] powerhouse. Going to be aweome seeing Hulk and Cull Obsidian go toe to toe. It would be even more awesome and a great standout moment for Bucky if he's the one to have to take him down. Remember Bucky's quote? How he felt like 'Jon Snow against heavy odds'. I have a weird hunch he's going to take out someone from the black order in magnificent fashion. Somethig like that Hulk vs. Jablonsky fight in the field but this time with the little guy being victorious

@Vigor - nah dude. Black Panther needs to be the dude who takes down BD aka Cull Obsidian

@Dacci - I forgot it was him. But you know what, I'm really OK with that. Wakanda forever!
Let's have Bucky take on hordes of Outriders

@Vigor - Speaking of doing your homework...you need to do some more research on the Black Order.

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - Elaborate. Expand, discuss. And by homework I meant unless The Black order, did their homework on Earth/Avengers

@Vigor - I could see them both doing it. Comic BP seems a little more powerful than MCU BP (I say that without seeing the movie, so it may not be the case here in a week). BD has that Hulk level strength but I don't think he has the durability. He was actually killed in the comics by Ronin the Accuser (hammer to the head).

@Dacci - The fun part and also frustrating is that we can only go off released promo. It appears both Bucky and T'challa are on the field simultaneously and I'm pretty sure they'll be taking on more than just the Outriders. If it's Bucky who takes Cull down, awesome. Having two former enemies team up to fell Obsidian would be glorious to see.

@Vigor - You just made me realize that this is the first time we will see the Russos' version of the Hulk! I hope his CG is on the same level as Thanos.
