It's hilarious how nobody here gave a shit or even noticed anything wrong with the cinematography until Wally Pfister criticized it.

despite its relatively universal acclaims, both commercially AND critically, when it came out..it's really annoying that by the end of the year/the awards season, many moviegoers and critics alike are discrediting The Avengers/Avengers Assemble as nothing but a good, fun piece of summer entertainment, despite of its level of challenges it met and conquered.

i risk of sounding blasphemous here, but i don't think the movie is that far from the Star Wars and the Indiana Joneses as a movie. regarding all the tough elements involved, i think Whedon and the movie shoulda gotten way more credits and respect.

it's really annoying when people tend to EXPECT the lousy tdkR to get some Oscar noms, while it'd be a joke for The Avengers to get even one. and with many critics including the last of nolan's batman flick on their list, it's really funny how the Avengers is nowhere to find, even though it's clearly the BETTER film. and when the magazine Empire declares it to be THE numero uno film of 2012, many of the readers are dissing and claiming it to be a HUGE joke..even though they clearly LOVED it, back in the summer.
