Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel’s The Avengers" is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, "Marvel’s The Avengers" brings together the mightiest super hero characters as they all assemble together on screen for the first time. The star studded cast of super heroes will be joined by Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as Tom Hiddleston and Stellan Skarsgård.

Man RDJ is Tony Stark ALL THE TIME. Either he's just being himself in the movies, or the guy just stays in character. Pretty funny. You meet him and it's like meeting the guy straight out of the films.

Awww I like RDJ, even though he is staring in a very pricey kids commercial, more widely known as as The Avengers. Still the humiliation of how bad Iron Man did against TDK must be still hurting, Sherlock's ok though I guess.

Commenting on RDJ snide comments against TDKR set photos, he was hating on TDK...so same old. Shame he's getting mad though as he's a rather good actor (Chaplin etc), just a shame he's attached to this expensive Marvel toy commercial. But it is Disney now I guess, I still have hope for something more mature as FOX have proven with First Class.

lol Class act. That was funny.

And I know some of you here like to think RDJ would dabble in fanboy doucheness, but I'll have to assume the man meant exactly what he said; he's glad people aren't calling it garbage- having NOTHING to do with any other movie. He's not a stupid little kid on a computer, he's part of a successful string of films and bigger than insulting colleagues of his own profession.

That's what I'd like to think.

@NeoBaggins you're expecting some of these kids to be somewhat mature and understand the concept of bridges and how burning them is bad. these are the same fanboys who 'love' only one of DC or Marvel and 'hate' the other, for no other reason than because their parents won't give them enough allowance money to buy comics from both.

WHAT...??? people's been calling the TDKR leaks GARBAGE???!!! I did NOT know this...wowww..!!! that's interesting..cuz, all i've been hearing and reading so far is TDKR gonna kick major ass, TDKR gonna stomp Avengers this and that...

for me if TDKR ends up sucking, it's gonna be bad for ALL CBM fans, y'know...

so, as much as i'm rooting for the Avengers movie more, i'm STILL rooting for TDKR AND Man of Steel. not sure bout The Amazing Spidey flick, cuz...i think the reboot's uncalled for. at least, for now.

@EarOne it's not garbage, but it's been a little disappointing. At least to me. I mean, the catwoman suit that doesn't look like catwoman, the bane voice, the bane muscles, the bane mask, the batwing is just ok, and so on. That's just me. Who knows? It might be good. Actually, it probably will be. But in terms of action, costumes, and seeing interesting spoilers, Avengers wins. As of now. I'm personally looking forward to Avengers more. Then TDKR comes 2nd. Then Man of Steel. Then Amazing Spider-Man. Actually, not so much for spidey. I agree with you about that.
