He is a chatter box about Loki isn't he. In seriousness though, I think he will do another great job as a more evil and jaded Loki, and I it makes me happy that he is so excited about the roll and has really kind of thrown himself into it.

@ Illwill you're just lashing out at Avengers cuz you don't wanna acknowledge that TDKR looks like shit. And Avengers is just pure frickin awesomeness. Go ahead hate all you want, but Avengers will come out on top, as a financial and critical success. DC, watch and learn.

I have no doubt that Nolan`s epic masterpiece will be the top film in all categories next year.

Let`s hope he make enough money off of it to buy the rights to Batman.

Yea,Nolan has a Bane that looks like he has a CPAP mask on and a Catwoman that has the body of a 13 year old girl!

That sounds like the perfect scene, where he is standing by himself, and the Avengers are all across from him looking cheesed off and ready to fight

Im catiously looking forward to the Avengers. No film IMO has been as good as Iron Man or The Incredible Hulk. Thor was ok when it had the makings of greatness and everything else was popcorn flick trash.

Im a fan of Firefly/Sernity, so Wheadon's involvement leaves me slightly optimistic. Although I wouldn't be suprised at all if The Avengers turns out to be an explosive action popcorn flick like Live Free Die Hard or a Transformers sequel.

@ illwill

the biggest film of 2012 will be the hobbit, the dark knight rises will make $750,000,000 max.

the avengers will be the best cbm of 2012 followed by the amazing spider-man.

Agreed. Once Nolan is gone DC/WB will suffer. Ergo, Marvel will reign supreme.

Lol I honestly can't understand why people come on Marvel threads bashing The Avengers and then complain when Marvel fanboys do the same on TDKR articles. [frick]ing loons :P

Also, the argument that TDKR will "make history" is completely legless. There's no proof that one will out-preform the other. Except for maybe those shitty Bance and Catwoman costumes :P

its fine to have an opinion, its not when you spam like an asshole. fact of the matter is, wb/dc is lucky marvel doesn't have spiderman/F4/ and the x-men. cause Marvel would have butt[frick]ed dc with an obelisk of awesomeness.

and i don't play this dc vs marvel game. that's just the truth.

At least Marvel picked the right person to portray Loki....one thing they did right...I think he's the perfect villain for the Avengers....would be nice to see Loki and the Red Skull as the bad guys.....

So, Earth is a small village, alien bandits are attacking, the Avengers set traps and such, 4 heroes die (which won't happen because of X-men 3). I prefer the Magnificent Seven to the Seven Samurai because of the meaning that's lost in translation, but I still think Toshiro Mifune is a boss. The anime version, Samurai 7, is pretty good too. Especially the climax.

So by next week the media should be able to make him crack and tell us exactly who the aliens are.

I think he knows what he is doing and the rest of the cast will let little bits like this slip until around Super Bowl time when we will find out for sure who the alien race is.

@revloveR - I LOL'ed @ "obelisk of awesomeness".

BTW: TDK isn't a CBM. It's a thriller. WB still don't have a clue on how to make CBMs.

addin this: TDK is awesome. But not listed as a genuine CBM to me.

Come on guys. What's with all the Marvel hate? Just because all of the Marvel Studio movies have done good and DC/WB can only make money off of Batman doesn't mean you have to take your frustrations out on the Marvel produced films. It's not Marvel's fault that Green Lantern sucked donkey balls.

All 5 of the Avengers related films have been good. If you want to bring the movies produced by Fox and Sony into this then X-Men 1 & 2, First Class and Spider-Man 1 & 2 were good movies as well.

Superman 1 & 2, Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Begins and TDK have all been good to varying degrees.

As a die hard Marvel fan I am so damn excited for The Avengers I don't think I can hold my load much longer ;) As for TDKR, I am, surprisingly, looking forward to it even though it lacks a sexy Catwoman. I wasn't that impressed with TDK but most of what I've seen for TDKR has me a little bit interested.
