As excitement builds for next summer's Man of Tomorrow, some never-before-seen images from 2025's Superman movie have been revealed. Images like these are typically used on posters and promotional material; this batch focuses on Supes, Lois Lane, and the villainous Lex Luthor.
We have some stunning shots of Superman and Lois together (someone needs to Photoshop them sitting atop The Daily Planet globe), along with a few terrific photos of the Man of Steel looking ready for action.
As for Luthor, he's suitably menacing here, though the character is expected to receive a makeover in Man of Tomorrow when filmmaker James Gunn portrays the evil billionaire in a more heroic light. Whether that will stick remains to be seen, though Brainiac is certainly a big enough threat to make Lex and Superman put their differences aside.
Superman was a box office success, grossing $618.7 million worldwide. Much has been said about the movie's budget and how much of a profit it ultimately turned, but it earned the DC brand a lot of much-needed goodwill after the DCEU's final few years.
As for Man of Tomorrow, we'll likely get the first trailer this December. That's how DC Studios handled Superman and Supergirl, both of which opened in the same summer window as the upcoming sequel. With that in mind, expect a teaser to play with Dune: Part Three.
In Superman, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humour, and heart, delivering a take on the hero who's driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.

The movie stars David Corenswet in the dual role of Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
Also appearing are Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Neva Howell, and Milly Alcock.
