The Avengers has picked in Cleveland, Ohio; with footage, various reports, and images of one of the stars, Chris Evans on set
to prove so. And now, courtesy of a few locals & extras from the set, more footage & images have hit; along with spoilerific details of what today's filming depicts.
Foremost, I was tipped from an extra that the scenes that were filmed today, & soon throughout the week, are being referred to as the "alien chase scene," evidently meaning extraterrestrials are surely involved and likely the cause for the wreckage.
And regarding Chris Evans' scenes today,
Splash News Online suggests the actor was looking inside a mock Acura dealership on a mock 42nd Street store front. And that another actress dressed in an apron was being attended to by the director on set and has yet to be identified. However, personally seeing an image of her myself, shes likely an extra.
Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security.
