SDCC '11: Clark Gregg Signing And 'Agent Coulson' Short Films Preview Captured!
Someone from SDCC managed to capture the appearance of the actor behind 'Agent Coulson,' Clark Gregg, and his signings as well a preview of his 2 short films. Check it out!
During last week's San Diego Comic-Con convention, actor Clark Gregg, whose known as 'S.H.I.E.L.D Agent Phil Coulson' in Iron Man and soon The Avengers, made an appearance and held a signing at Marvel's booth. With a huge stage presence, the actor also brought a preview of his 2 short films, one-shots, that'll be available on Thor's DVD/Blu-ray September release. And now an attendee, who managed to record the signing and one-shots, has posted it online.
What's interesting about these "one-shots" is that they seem to fill gaps in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that would seem out of place in the feature films. In case you're lost, one of the one-shots depicted Coulson and Agent Sitwell discussing making an offer to General Thunderbolt Ross, from The Incredible Hulk, and who they were going to send to annoy him enough to decline the offer. And this scene will most likely lead to The Incredible Hulk's closing scene with Ross, and Tony Stark as the consultant. And you may remember, near the ending of Iron Man 2, Nick Fury referred to Stark as a "consultant." What do you think?
Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. Phil Coulson), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), with Tom Hiddleston (Loki Laufeyson), and Stellan Skarsgard (Professor Erik Selvig), the film releases worldwide May 4, 2012!
