Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård , Samuel L. Jackson and will be released in the US on May 4, 2012 and in the UK on April 26, 2012.

Damn, Steve's head looks like it's badly Photoshopped (and why is he on the far left of the cover, cut into half?), but, well...love the battle-damaged suits, though. Just if the Hulk's towering behind them all, and it's not just Banner standing there.

Diff'rent strokes and all that, but how can people say this is good? Have higher standards for yourselves, this is another in a long line of terribly Photoshopped Avengers promotionals.

WOW all the characters are walking, AWESOME. And they weren't even in the same room, it's clearly all put together on a computer, SWEET. Plus we don't even get to see Thor and Cap in their entirety, so Marvel can further shine light on the existence of characters nobody truly cares about like Black Widow and Hawkeye, AMAZING.

I'm kind of getting tired of RDJ being the center of attention. I know we've all established the fact that it's for marketing purposes and the movie will be different but I can't help but be bothered by it. The Big 3 should all be in the front (IronMan, Cap, and Thor) with Cap being in the middle leading the group.

lame, X-men FC did it already. darn, Stark needs to wear his helmet if he's to be standing right next to Captain Rogers who does it with little effort, while Tony looks freaking stoned. LOL

bad photoshop on Thor's and Widows face they look like ghost ready to scare the little kids who like staying late at night. LOL

I can actually respect them taking the photoshop into their own hands to mix and match to make something different. They rebuilt Cap out of cap pictures, added battle scars and chose a Ruffalo that wasn't a chuncky ass fat head head when he looked more like a Bruce Banner. They even changed Starks hair as they saw fit and made him look younger. I bet that Sam Jackson head isn;t even from a pic of Sam Jackson as Nick Fury.

Thor's face is Photoshoped bad... still cool pic, wish they would do something different than just having everyone walking though...

I wonder how Iron Man's armor got battle damaged so bad? It's not Loki's army's work because he doesn't have the triangle chest piece when he fights them. So I'm guessing that's after his battle with Thor or the Hulk. But I'm thinking of Thor because his lighting could make those burn marks.
