Although a bit underwhelming now that the theatrical trailer has been released, and setting a record for most watched trailer on iTunes, the teaser that gave us the first low-quality perception of Marvel's The Avengers has hit the net in high-quality. Detached from Captain America: The First Avenger's after-criedts, offering a few clips that were not included in the theatrical trailer, check out the video below courtesy of Twitter's Antovolk; and the studios' press release.

And regarding the theatrical trailer's broken record, Marvel has issued the following press release:

BURBANK, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Marvel Studios announced today that the trailer for next summer’s most highly anticipated movie, “Marvel’s The Avengers,” has been downloaded over 10 million times in its first 24 hours on iTunes Movie Trailers (http://www.apple.com/trailers), shattering the most-viewed trailer record in the site's history.

The trailer, which debuted Tuesday, October 11, exclusively on iTunes Movie Trailers, gives fans a sneak peak at “Marvel’s The Avengers”—the Super Hero team up of a lifetime—based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since.

Marvel's The Avengers is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner with Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel's The Avengers will be released May 4, 2012.

This looks different from the one after Cap... There seems to be new footage of Maria Hill and Loki.

Kinda odd seeing it in HQ after repeated viewings in very low quality. ;P
Glad to see what the hell's going on in the trailer. :D Still NOTHING compared to the theatrical though.

I think that this is BETTER than the trailer that they just put out. If they had included Hulk, it would be no contest.

I still like their choic eof hulk, the guy comes off as strong but sort of quiet and reclusive at the same time. He seems quite good for the part.

@txt56 I caught that too. Maybe banner tries some experiment on himself hence the green light. Also in the theatrical trailer you can see that same scene and it shows banner walking in and then punching someone.

It was short and sweet and to the point. Simple.
When I saw that I let out a big "Hell Yeah" which was backed up by an applause of the audience. I think the real trailer kinda lackes that WOW feeling. Mostly bc I had already seen The Avengers chilling in a lab. The Hulk saved it for me.

I did not like the music it felt forced to me. It seemed to follow a male tone I did not enjoy. It seemed to start too early and end a little too soon. I also did not like the lighting . Not enough pink pastels. I disliked a lot of things because I actually do not enjoy movies at all. I just like to bitch about movies. That is how I get my jollies. Also I had to push lay myself if an article is on the main could you not make it play automaticly? I was drinking a soda while wartching it and the soda was a little flat. I Joss Wheaton cannot put fizz in my soda I may wait and watch this on Network T.V. In five Years. I think the trailer was better than the teaser cause I used to date a tease and had to fap a lot afterwards. Why did Thor not have a helme even though I know after the first Thor movie they obviously decided not to have him wear it all the time for some reason . But ,I want it and that is all that should matter. Still they refuse to show a character whos CGI work is not finished yet. I want them to show the character then I can complain about the CGI that is not finished.Cap's head looked too big in one shot and too small in another. Did you know that The Clooney Batman movie was not really that good? I will tell you that is was not over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over . I also did not Like the Dutch angles in Thor because I read a critic who said they were overused and it makes me look like I know what I am talking about if I critisize them too. Even though 99% of the people who watched the film did not notice them( and me either tee hee ). Ohand Marvel is sooooooo much better than DC. Oh no ..... wait..... or is it DC is better than Marvel ? Cause I read a comic once..... well O.K. i looked at the pictures and could tell the whole story without reading it just from the pics and it was a Marvel comic.........no it might have been DC.

i agree...the music's MUCH MUCH better. and the spoken lines aren't edited to add cheese to the whole proceeding.

i dunno after seeing this post-credit teaser again, i'm hating the official trailer even more now. they should FIRE the person who did that and have the teaser guy/gal do the next full trailer, instead. they're not by the same person, right..??

Does anyone else notice the shot of the Shield Agents surrounding the old shack looking hut with green light coming out of the doorway?? It looks like the same shack in the teaser trailer that Ruffalo (Hulk) is walking into. Maybe he is there hiding and Shield shows up to recruit him but he puts up a bit of a fight. Something to think about. Sorry if this has already been spotted. :)

The music in this trailer is awesome. I wish it would have been in the real one. Something about the music just gives it a better sound and feeling to the movie
