The Avengers teaser trailer which premiered to a shocked Comic Con audience last week is now online. Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury); Logo created by Ahmet Ahmet and Peter Frankfurt:



Joss Whedon is set to direct the film starring Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.

I recently saw some of Ruffalo's past movies to see if the actor can do the "jolly green" the due justice that it deserves. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see that he brings this sort of average everyday humanity to roles. I saw a few films, but the one that seemed to fit the mold in terms of attire and demeanor was Just like Heaven. Despite the movie being a romantic comedy, there were a few marked scenes where I kept on imagining him as a despondent, yet steadfast Dr. Banner, rattled by the cruelty of having to cope with the death of his wife; yet, resolved to continue on with a new found love. I also read up his biography and watched a few interviews on youtube. His life has been beset by much tragedy, beginning with a hard-nosed upbringing, health complications, and the recent death of his brother. Reading and seeing all of this, there is definitely a sympathy that I have towards the man and believe that his path in life has brought him to this role. I know how many of you feel towards this, as I did as well at some point, but before you cast judgment on him, as with anything, try to understand before you make a decision. With knowledge comes understanding.

Not exactly exciting (but then again it wouldnt be when they've not even started filming the movie, lol) but cool nonetheless! I imagine it was pretty awesome to see it revealed live at Comic Con though..!

@TABOO Hi chickadee!!!! =D Here is my reasons for having doubts about this film. Too many MAIN Players and so LITTLE time. It's one thing when you have a story based around one hero but to have a group of them seems like its gonna be hard to do. Especially, if the movie is going to be only like 2 hours and 45 mins or something. You have to fit in enough action with storyline for all the characters and I am honestly not sure Marvel is ready for it. I know DC is DEFINITELY not ready for a JLA movie. Hopefully I am proven wrong. I haven't watched the trailer yet but I like Samuel L Jackson so I should have a nerdgasm when I get home.
