Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel’s The Avengers" is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

Good film, I just hope it's amazing success doesn't lead to a slew of shockingly bad superhero movies where everyone milks the cow til it dies! Ghost Rider: SOV was total horse dung, let that be the last sub standard one.

I have now seen it 4 times; 3 in 3d (I like the "gimmick").

Just like I have seen "Thor" 10 times, I will probably see "the Avengers" as many times, maybe more.

They keep thanking everyone, which is nice, like we did them a favor. This movie is making so much money because it's great! It should send a message to Hollywood. If you want to make piles of money on a movie, make them good and people will go. It's that easy.

I hope they bring in Ms. Marvel, Nova, and Gaurdians of the galaxy for the next one. Even though I hate Rocket Raccoon I would love to see Star lord on the big screen.
