Tom Hiddleston had a wonderful night, he took home the prize for Best Newcomer at Empire Awards 2012. In the press room Tom fielded many questions and of course the subject of The Avengers took center stage. The actor reveals that he has seen a rough cut of the film, and says the movie at times is very serious, and then at the drop of a hat it doesn't take itself serious at all.

It appears that people are trying to argue against something that has not been said.

The first thing in the comments is 'of course he would say that, or what else would he say?'. What are you so afraid might be said that you begin so defensively I wonder?

This movie has got me do pumped and excited that nobody not any troll can't affect my mood for this movie ( actually they never did for any of marvel studios films) if anything now I kinda feed of their negativity and just sit back and enjoy the show :) . They know epicness is coming so why fight it .

Ya'll Nolanites need to get outta here. Ya'll know damn well if Christian Bale or Gary Oldman were to praise TDKR ya'll would be on that movie's nutz. Let us enjoy the early praise of the film.

I'm on team Loki too. I see from the Loki and Peggy pictures that he is going to use the two finger technique on her. Nice!

Hey nolan, quick question.

In tdkr are you just going to shoehorn in some 'relevant theme' in a tacky way for a couple minutes like you did in tdk, so that your moronic followers can claim that the movie has depth???

I agree with Equivocal, of course most actors won't badmouth something they're in before it comes out, however, sometimes you can tell when they really seemed excited or they're just going thru the motions. When all they have to say is it was fun, then look out. but all he says sounds sincere.
Also Josh is the master of being able to switch from drama to humor and back without missing a beat or making it seemed forced.
Watched Serenity again last night and it re-affirmed, in my own mind that this is in really good hands.

@Economics- Clerks 2 got a standing ovation too... just saying. Standing ovations aren't really merit for how good a film is. Although to be fair, that movie got a standing ovation at the cannes film festival and TDKR got a standing ovation at a screening for the warner bros execs... kind of puts things into perspective really. I guess what i'm trying to say is, a standing ovation is completely irrelevant.
