There have been a lot of Avengers: Age of Ultron parodies — a lot of them — but I’m pretty sure none comes close to this one, in which Earth’s Littlest Heroes unite to defend their school against a math-loving robot.
Written by Alex Hoffman and directed by Éli Sokhn for DreamWorksTV, “Kid Avengers: A Little Age of Ultron” begins as a cute adaptation of the trailer, with children playing all of the roles. However, about midway through, the video turns into a funny critique of the sequel, and Marvel Studios in general, as the kids try to make sense of the plot and the players.
After mistaking Quicksilver for Silver Surfer, the pint-sized Nick Fury tries to sort out who’s who by matching the heroes with their films. While neither the Hulk nor Hawkeye fares well in that game, it leads little Black Widow to ask, “Why are boys the only ones who get movies?”
