Following a report from Yahoo UK, we now know that Hawkeye himself Jeremy Renner is the most successfull actor from the Marvel Cinematic universe franchise outside of it.

I know this comes off as a shock to a lot of you, since Hawkeye is the least seen of the Avengers, but this may be a blessing as only appearing in The Avengers & small Cameo in Thor has proved to be the best thing for Jeremy as his roles in the Bourne Franchise, Mission Impossible & Hansel & Gretel  have gotten him to the top of this list.

WAIT A MINUTE NOW, you must be thinking this is wrong as RDJ & Jackson are way bigger stars having their careers more than double Jeremy's in experience and profit, but this list only start's since the MCU started it's franchise so we are only counting from the years 2008 and forward, if the list was an all time stat Multiple other Avengers would leave Hawkeye in their cinematic box office dust.

Also as a little fact Jeremy Renner is the ONLY MCU actor to rack up for himself a Best Actor Oscar Nomination since the 2008 start of the Marvel Movie Universe, his nomination was due to the film, The Hurt Locker. Not bad eh?

Here's the List:

1. JEREMY RENNER

2. Robert Downey Jr

3. Samuel L. Jackson

4. Chris Hemsworth

5. Scarlett Johansson

6. Mark Ruffalo

7. Chris Evans

Captain American may shock you as the bottom man in the list but that's because Evan has been focusing more on Directing over acting, could that be a sign of a soon to be helmed Evan's MCU movie? Only time will tell!

Yet he's the most redundant within the MCU.

No worries though, he'll be awesome in AoU.

@DCGuy

You're a bait. And you don't even get other facts straight and just go with what you see. Thankfully, people on this site don't care for you (-:

Robert Downey Jr. has a Best Supporting Actor nomination from 2008.

Mark Ruffalo nominated for Best Supporting Actor 2011, And Primetime Emmy Nomination for Lead Actor in Miniseries.

We're not even getting into BAFTA, AFA, GB etc.

Stop trying to shitwash Marvel Studios with your filth. (:

Go to his Netflix article MrCBM, you'll see his true colors...here's an excerpt...

...Agent's o S.H.I.E.L.D. altho I do not blame Netflix on that one, the low ratings for that crap don't earn it even a second season on it's own, LOL at ABC needing Marvelites to BEG for season 2.

Chris Evans has been in the most CBM overall so thats something

Fantastic 4 (1 and 2)
The Losers
TMNT
Cap (1, 2 and 3)
Avengers (1 and 2)
Scott Pilgrim vs The World

That's 10 films.

Also, I love Arrow and the Flash, but if people really come clean, Gotham is horrible so far, other than the Penguin, everything else on that show is well below the watch-ability of Agent of SHIELD...AoS S2 has been excellent, in my opinion of course...I know they've lost a lot of viewers, but ABC/Disney has the bucks, if they wanted to get it back to the very top of the ratings game, they'd shell out some big bucks for RDJ or ScarJo to appear for a few episodes, but they haven't gone down that road, which is admirable...

None of the content in this article is bad guys! I know DCGuy has trolled in the past, and still does, but there's seriously nothing wrong about this article. Only thing I'm surprised is that he's the one that reported this kind of news!

Rourke got his Oscar nomination before he was in the MCU.

He was in IM2 (2010) and he got his nomination for The Wrestler (2008) in 2009.

AoS S02 has been more focused, now that it actually has a season plot. Excellent? Not really. The characters are still terrible and the show can't muster anything that resembles any real human emotion.

I don't want it to be cancelled tho.

Rankings in usually subjective... however, RDJ was the highest-paid actor last year ($75m) & Hemsworth was #5 with $37m, just behind Leonardo DiCaprio, who was #4 with $39m.

You can say they make their $$ from the MCU, but so what? And Hemsworth is toplining Ron Howard's next movie (which looks great), so he's obviously not confined to Marvel...
