Who Should THE AVENGERS Take on Next?

Just talking about who we should/could see in future Avengers films.

Hey all, I’ve just been thinking of who Marvel could put in Avengers films as villains that could carry the whole movie. Since we already got loki, getting Ultron, and more than likely Thanos. Well I’ve made a list of characters and teams who I think can make it through a movie posing a big enough threat to the avengers.

10. serpent society

The serpent society in all reality doesn’t seam like the best of plans. They haven’t been mentioned yet, and probably never will. Simply the name doesn’t fly well, if we do see them, they may be helping a main villain.

9. AIM

Now AIM. Chances of seeing them be the focus of a Avengers film is very slim. People are speculating they will create Ultron which wouldn’t be to surprising. But I don’t see them being the ones doing the actual fighting. I think AIM would be better suited in solo films or the SHIELD TV show.

8. Hydra

Is Hydra still around? We haven’t heard from them since cap took down the Red Skull's ship so we don’t really know if they are going to ever be in the MCU again. These guys again don’t seem to have the punch to really lead a MCU film over the others, but they have some great characters we could see. Baron Strucker, Grim Reaper. They would do well in a Avengers film, just not as well as others.

7. Kree

A Kree invasion of earth would be one heck of an invasion. The Avengers would have their hands full. Also great chance to see Captain Mar-vell join the team. However with the amount of space heroes we haven’t seen, I feel the Kree would be better suited to fight against Nova, Quasar, Guardians of the Galaxy and so on.

6. Skrull

The Skrull I think have a better chance of making an Avengers movie than the Kree. Simply because of their shape shifting abilities. I don’t think they would be the only characters, but there could be some other villain leading them into battle. Although that could be too much of a copy off of the first film.

5. Galactus

Though not owned by Marvel, if they did get the rights back Galactus would be an great villain for an Avengers movie. He has the power to destroy them so simply enough he’s got to be on this list. However I would prefer him to fight against the likes of the Guardians of the Galaxy or the Nova Corps.

4. Dr Doom

If the get the rights to the Fantastic Four back, Dr Doom is the Ideal way to have a place for the 4 in this universe. If they make the Fantastic Four more geared to be explorers who get attacked by doom. That would remove the question “Why aren’t the Fantastic Four helping the Avengers?”. If Doom were to attack the Fantastic Four and the Avengers we would have a heck of a war.

3. Masters of Evil

The Masters of Evil are needed in this universe somewhere, They are able to go toe to toe with the avengers one on one, and are not an army or one big villain (Chitauri or Ultron), but rather tons of little villains who can fight one on one with each avenger. This would create a great film, however I feel the Masters of Evil would almost be better placed in a Captain America film if he has help. For instance in the newest Cap film, we already have him, Falcon, Winter Soldier, and Black widow. That would be enough to have a solid battle with the Masters of Evil. Since Zemo is a Cap villain, they would do well to fight each other while the rest battle.

2. Korvac

Korvac would the ultimate ending to the Avengers series of movies. He would pull the Guardians of the Galaxy, Nova Corps, Just about everyone to help take him down. He has so much power that he would be able to devastate large areas, and cause one heck of a battle. If they continue to make movies after Thanos, they really should do Korvac.

1. Kang

Kang has everything you need from a villain. The ability to defeat the Avengers, an army, and he has taken over the world in the future. It would bring the best of all the worlds together. I think Kang would almost be a for sure avengers villain if we see more than 3.

My picks for avengers flicks are

Avengers 4: Kang
Avengers 5: Dr Doom
Avengers 6: Korvac

I don’t think they will even make six so I’ll stop there. that’s all folks just throwing out some Ideas. Thanks for reading.

@Batz yeah exactly, I think they would work well. But with so many villains in this universe, it may end up them needing to pick and choose who makes a movie. One thing though is that eventually I think everyone can be made. Think about it. In however many years, 20 lets say, CBM aren't the biggest things anymore. But still, do you really think an avengers movie will ever make under 600 million or so? No, they will still make money. So they can still make some movies and cover so much of the universe. Honestly I see about 30 movies being made eventually. In that many movies they could do just about everyone worthy of movie time.

I would like to see "Mandarin" come back with an Extremis Abomination! That'd be a match for the whole team. Hulk, the most powerful Avenger in the movie, barely bested Abomination in their first round. Add the power of Extermis to that, and it'll take all the Avengers to bring him down.

@moondoggyX yeah it would be interesting but there are lots of villains that are way more powerful than that they could use. That are already in the comics too.

I would love if they brought back the abomination and see hulk really push it for himself.. Like the idea..

Kang would be awesome. I've loved Kang ever since I read Eternity War. Damned fine story, if you like time travel 'n' shit.

My hope for the abomination is to see a second hulk film. The leader and Abomination team up. Maybe even absorbing man. Leader being the brains, and the Abomination and absorbing man doing the dirty work.

you named a lot of interesting people in your article but you forgot to include people like : The Squadren Sinister The Enchantress and The Executioner The Absorbing Man Adam Worlock Klaw The Grim Reaper Graviton etc.. these are the kind of people that I think The Avengers should face in future movies.

I would say:

1. Thanos
2. HYDRA
3. Masters of Evil
4. Kang

@Godofthunder enchantress would be masters of evil. Adam warlock and such I feel would fit better facing solo heroes. Especially absorbing man, let him fight hulk. Graviton I would like though. Grim reaper is HYDRA.
@Van
Thanos is already probably automatic, I like your other three.

@MAC They would do well to use a lot of things from EMH. It was a great tv show.

I just can't wait for in 10 years when we have have however many movies behind us and really have narrowed down parts of the MCU they need to still do.

Nah. As cool as six Avengers movies sounds, I prefer an Avengers trilogy. You can't get more perfect and epic than Loki (weak villain overall but a great villain to put the team against for their first big mission), Ultron and finally Thanos.

i was hoping for kang & ultron in the avengers 2,but by the looks of things we're gonna get just ultron.

if marvel introduce the inhumans with a movie of their own the avengers 3 might be called the avengers infinty.

just like how they borrowed age of ultron for the avengers sequel.

I really want to see Masters of Evil in Avengers 3. I think Thanos could be saved for a big 2021 movie that involves other cosmic heros too.

Now a question I have; who is the strongest villain for Avengers? Is it Thanos, Kovac, Kang or enyone else?
