A shot from the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. A truck crashed from an upper level road to a lower level road. This shot took several days of onsite setup to create. The crew turned Los Angeles in September to Gotham in winter. Was awesome to see snow in LA.

How cool was that? Nolan with his practical stunts are blowing away anything done with CG. Last Batman film Nolan had a big rig flip over on to the roof of it's trailer. And now we see that the genius director is one upping himself by having a truck drop from Upper Grand, and land onto Lower Grand.

Based on the call sheet for the day they are expected to film the aftermath of that plunge, so keep checking for updates.
