Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One was well-received by fans (you can check out our review by clicking here), and there's a huge amount of excitement ahead of the sequel's release on July 27.

A big part of that anticipation stems from the knowledge that Part Two will be much grander in scale, especially with some iconic villains gearing up to take aim at the Caped Crusader. Now, some new stills have been released from the movie featuring a new look at Batman interacting with iconic DC Comics characters Carmine Falcone, Catwoman, The Joker, and Calendar Man.

The latter should be interesting given their tense exchange in Arkham Asylum in Part One, and voice actor David Dastmalchian talked to us about that scene when we caught up with him last month

"The Long Halloween, Part Two chronicles the second half of this yearlong crime saga," reads the synopsis for Part Two"As the mysterious Holiday Killer continues their deadly crime spree, District Attorney Harvey Dent is pushed to the brink in his quest to bring justice to Gotham City. As the trailer shows, The Long Halloween is also the origin story of Two-Face."

"Making matters worse, Bruce Wayne has been captured by Poison Ivy, leaving Gotham undefended during its darkest hour. Even mob boss Carmine Falcone is becoming increasingly desperate, striking a Faustian bargain with Gotham's new generation of super-criminals."

Most of Part One's cast will be returning for this sequel, but there are going to be some new additions, including Robin Atkin Downes (The Strain) as both Scarecrow and Thomas Wayne, John DiMaggio (Futurama) as the Mad Hatter, Laila Berzins (Genshin Impact) as Sofia Falcone, Jim Pirri (World of Warcraft) as Sal Maroni, and Zach Callison (The Goldbergs) as Young Bruce Wayne.

Check out these new stills from Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two below:

On another topic: just came across this video for the first time

Seriously Zack pick up a comic

You want change, you set an example and thats what superman and to a lessor extent batman try to do. History is filled with people who did the same

@dracula - That Zack monologue was hard to watch. It was very hard to follow his point. “It’s like… bro! Like… you know! Bro! [audience cheers]. And you know…. Like…. Bro! Wake up! [audience roars].”

Finally watched Part 1 last night. I enjoyed. Liked the voice cast, especially Naya as Catwoman. Probably should've just adapted all of it cuz it just flew by, but not bad. Looking forward to Part 2

Why does Calendar Man get to look like the cover of a men's health magazine and Joker looks like he's a background character in a 1880s London period piece calling the protagonist a wanker as he walks by?

I REALLY enjoyed it I must say. They really turned the comic on it's head. Now I don't know who the hell is the holiday killer.
