Saw the prologue. It was a major let-down. It doesn't compare even slightly to Dark Knight's intro. And... Bane sounds like a cross between Darth Vader and a bag lady. I hope they'll fix his voice in post. I really didn't like any of that entire prologue.

Saw the prologue at the IMAX cinema in Melbourne yesterday (third largest screen in the world). What an incredible melding of the IMAX capabilities with white knuckle, action film derring-do, the sequence completely immersed in the action when viewed on a seven story high screen that takes up your entire field of vision.

I was skeptical but I now believe Tom Hardy's Bane has the potential to become a great modern movie villain. I was expecting the worst from what I had read online, but I thought Hardy's Bane voice was perfect - a strange mixture of British and Eastern European accents, full of menace and slightly modulated through the breathing apparatus. There were a couple of lines that were a bit difficult to understand but there was a ton of noise going on around him at the time...he sounds like a genuine terrorist. His voice is definately stuck in my brain (and I've never been a big fan of Bane).

his accent is so annoying, but man he's done an amazing job in this trilogy with the score.

Bane sounds freakin' awesome. Its like a cross between Sigmund Freud and Sean Connery with a little Darth Vader thrown in. Really scary and cool.

Bane's voice already sounds one of the most unique movie voices I've ever heard...and there's still post production audio 'polishing' to be done. I'm sure by this time next year, the voice of Bane already will be iconic.

Speaking of voices, I wonder if there's any TDKR scene where Bane comments on the nature of Bruce's own 'Batman' voice...again, Nolan IS talkin mirrors..

I'm surprised there hasn't been a poll on our opinion about the trailer yet.

And yeah deanwilkens, how dare you share your opinion in a comment section! I'll just assume your American too. [frick]ing americans, they are definitely the only people who share their criticisms on this site.
