JOKER Set Photos See Arthur Fleck Take A Fall As We Get A First Look At Brett Cullen's Thomas Wayne

Another round of set photos for Joker have surfaced today and these feature what appears to be a confrontation of some sort between Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck and Brett Cullen's Thomas Wayne...

Joker is still shooting in New York City and it appears as if pretty much every key moment in the movie will have found its way online via set photos by the time the DC Comics adaptations enters post-production. That's no great surprise considering the fact there's so much intrigue surrounding what's been billed as a standalone origin story for the Clown Prince of Crime.

In these images, we see Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck take a nasty spill on Park Avenue in the Big Apple as he seemingly attempts to catch the attention of billionaire Thomas Wayne.

As you can see, the father of Bruce Wayne looks pretty might like you would imagine but given his age here, it's hard not to wonder whether or not the man who one day becomes known as Batman may have already been born at this point. Honestly, given the nature of Joker and the fact it won't be adhering to the comics, it could even be Arthur who guns down Thomas and Martha in Crime Alley.

What do you guys think? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

To think that Zack Snyder is the only director who gave Thomas the stache.

I don't know, there is just nothing here or in ANY of the photos or discriptions that gets me jazzed about this film. Joker (-from what we've seen ) looks like Ronald McDonald, who exudes NO menace whatsoever and everyone else here either looks like their sleepwalking. Phoenix just looks like a fool.
I just have a very bad feeling about this film.

@regularmovieguy - IKR? I didn’t want this movie. I wish they would focus on in-universe films. I want a second Superman solo movie more than anything. All that said and done, this flick still has me very intrigued, especially considering who is playing Mr. Fleck.

@RolandD

Yeah...we literally know nothing about this movie except that it revolves around Arthur Fleck becoming the Joker and Thomas Wayne is involved.

The trailer could come out and be a pile of shit. But we have one of the best working actors playing an iconic villain - and imo he looks great from the set pics. People were saying the same shit when they saw Ledger in the role (not comic accurate, gay cowboy, etc.)

Let's just wait and see what they're doing here. Could be great, could be shit.

So if Thomas Wayne is involved, Bruce is still just a kid.
Does that mean by the time Bruce becomes Batman the Joker will be in his 60's? I know that wont be in the movie but still...

What if "A. Fleck" is a joke on us fans to hide/hint that Joker is really Bruce Wayne in this story? It would be a very Jokerish thing to do to us.
