Michael Keaton Signs Off On BATFLECK; Comments On Possibly Returning To The Franchise

We've heard from pretty much everyone involved with any previous incarnation of Batman already, why not (arguably) the most popular one! TMZ nabbed a few words with Keaton, who says he thinks Ben Affleck will be "great" as The Dark Knight..

Keaton (as cool as ever) was nabbed by TMZ as he exited a restaurant, and they quizzed him over the recent news that has had the entire internet in spasms for days now. The man who played the caped crusader so memorably in both of Tim Burton's Bat-flicks says he thinks Ben Affleck will be great in the role, before replying that he can "do anything" when asked if he'd ever consider returning to the franchise..perhaps in a different role.

This man needs to make more movies.

Affleck will do good. I've watched a bunch if his movies in the last couple of days and his acting has really changed for the better throughout the years. People just love to bitch and complain, he has the body and the acting chops to pull off Batman/Bruce Wayne. Plus all these people complaining about it are going to watch it anyway.

Keaton can be Detective Harvey Bullock. I'm half-kidding, because I can see it actually working...

I wouldnt mind a cameo for Keaton as like the Mayor of either Gotham or Metropolis in MOS 2. Its unlikely though. But it be cool.

@Jerryblake, LOL. If TMZ's behaviour say's anything, its that they are capable of trying to get an interview out of George clooney while he's getting laid.

I always was a fan of Keaton especially as Batman. He should give Ben some acting tips on being Batman and I hope he a little cameo in the new movie, it'll be a wink to all the old 80s/90s fans

Ugh... even when the questions are benign, harassing actors on the streets when they're just trying to mind their own business seems annoying and sleazy.

Ben Affleck will be alright. He should absolutely try to change his Batman's voice as Keaton did, not like Bale.

TMZ, Learn when the stalk talk is done, it's done! lol Glad Keaton endorsed him. Curious to hear from Bale, who regardless probably will just to exit the franchise quicker, and of course Kevin Conroy!

I'm also telling you, if WB wanted to cast Keaton as Jim Gordon, a LOT of people would get over that it's not Garry in this next movie. Just food for thought!

It's funny to me but Batman still holds up. Too bad they couldn't get the action and movement to be a little better, but story wise it was still a lot of fun.
