Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt on the set of "The Dark Knight Rises" in downtown New York.

They shot scenes from Batman in the alley behind my house in los angeles, so I grabbed my DV Camera and shot some scenes myself!

This is more of the same scene from video #1 , #2 & #3, shot from different angles. Christopher Nolan is meticulous, and shoots all scenes from about 5 angles, all with different camera setups and special efx...Amazing to watch! ...great to see. Christopher's style of directing and shot layout, very precise... also lots of gunfire and explosions...then they review the scene, make changes, then do it again, and again, and again, etc.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

What is up with the gray streak in Bales's hair? Or are my eyes just deceiving me? This is just off the hook. Everyone cannot wait but it's only 8 months away. it'll be on DVD and Blue Ray this time next year!

@Intruder, I agree regarding that Robin mess. That and the use of the word "EPIC" is just ridiculous. As far as Nolan being secretive you should take into account he is doing a lot more on location filming. There were still spy videos on TDK but they had more control as they were on Lower Wacker as had more places blocked off. I think it's all good because as much as we THINK we've seen, we really haven't seen anything.

@ Intruder, I completely agree with you on that. That was BS. I think for that scene they could have built some large tarp or something to just block parts of the streets off.

I would also like to add no matter what input you have, I appreciate your presence on here. Yours and Grifs. makes reading comments pretty entertaining.

To everyone who is holding on to Robin. Just wait for the next franchise. Why would you want him anyway? That would just be lame in my eyes. I want to see batman in his struggle to pick himself back up after getting his A** handed to him. The internal conflict of coming back when he is really needed now and gaining the confidence to become the Batman again is enough for me. Bringing in some sidekick is not really all that cool. Worst case scenario Blake tries to be Batman at night or something. who knows, We'll see something next month.

@Blee, he parked his lambo in front of Wayne Enterprises and got it towed. You can't just do that in the city. Blake supposedly said he'd give him a ride.
