"Wow! That’s a tricky one," said Nolan when asked about the 'Dark Knight Rises' theme. "I actually don’t have an answer for you today. I’m gonna have to really think about that."

"Once you see the film in 2012 you will completely understand why they were the perfect choice for these characters."

"Well, I’ll say this: We’re very much excited about really finishing a trilogy and giving a conclusion to our story. And that’s what we’re doing."

"Yes, I have [read the 'Avengers' script]. It's tremendous. I can't tell you anything about it. It's a massive undertaking, how he [will need to] pull all of those characters off and have it make sense. That guy's [Joss Whedon] elusive. He's like a ninja. [He's] elusive. I don't see him very often."

"There's some training I have to do, some archery lessons, obviously."

"I might [have a cameo]," he said when quizzed about 'Thor'. "Go see it. Check it out."

"I don't think they'll get me back in that stuff! It was a really enjoyable shoot. The girls who did my makeup are my best friends in the world now."
