Batman Begins told the definitive origin story of Batman. The Dark Knight brought us Heath Ledger's Oscar winning performance as The Joker. The Dark Knight Rises was an epic conclusion to the trilogy which finished Christopher Nolan's take on the Caped Crusader in true style. Over the course of three films, we followed Bruce Wayne's incredible journey, while also being introduced to many of the greatest Batman supporting characters and villains. Throw in some of the best actors in the business, incredible action and special effects, as well as a rousing theme courtesy of composer Hans Zimmer, and there can be no doubting the fact that The Dark Knight Trilogy will go down as one of the greatest ever. Here's your chance to decide which of them is your favourite!

TDKR was my least favorite because I didn't care for watching a shell of a Batman being forced to save Gotham one more time.

TDK was my favourite but all 3 were excellent.

I really liked Batman Begins but Bane made such an impression on me. But I'll vote Batman Begins, followed by The Dark Knight Rises then the Dark Knight. Loved them all. Great redefinitions of Batman, and iconic trilogy.

batman begins & the dark knight are equal for different reasons,i thought the dark knight rises was good but has nothing the previous movies.

well apart from the best fight scene i.e bane vs batman round 1.

the dark knight rises is case of close but no cigar.

I acknowledge that The Dark Knight is a better overall film than the Dark Knight Rises, but Rises is my favorite primarily for the emotional payoff. Just my opinion though.

The Dark Knight, it reminded me of Batman:The Animated Series(still the best adaptation)with its organized crime angle. TDKR kind of felt like a Justice League Movie without the rest of the league.

Begins gets my vote. Finally a film about Batman and of course it had to be the one with the origin. Lots of potential depending where they go from here.....

...unfortunately the 2 sequels let me down. Yeah TDK gets a bump because of the Joker but IMO the Batman/Wayne character direction didn't do it for me. Not the way I see the true character obsessed with the mission ahead of anything and everything.

First of all, as a new member, say Hi to everyone.

Like a hole, i should say the one i liked the most, would be Batman begins.
Rises was more fun for me and a good close, although i think is the one with more flaws for me.
Dark knight was a good psycho movie with an amazing joker. But it was kinda boring to me.

That's a really cool picture. TDK and TDKR are pretty much even in my book, but I'll give a slight edge to TDKR because of all the goosebump moments and how emotional it was. Also, I liked the way it neatly tied in to Batman Begins. They're all fantastic though. The greatest trilogy of all time, in my opinion.

I hope you know these polls are prone to cheating. All one has to do is delete their browsing history and vote again... Just a little FYI @Josh.

Begins all the way, it was the only true "Batman" film in the trilogy. It's a damn shame WB/DC gave Nolan as much freedom as they did with the sequels, that's truly why TDKR was as terrible as it was.

For TDK they should've moved away from the armor and just redesigned the suit.

The fact that there is as much dispute as there is between which of the three is the best is a testament to how consistently incredible the films were.

At the moment it's TDKR. It may change with time however.

Rises. I don't know. It's new and still in my mind. Plus I saw it in IMAX and it was an adrenaline rush. Definitely not the strongest or most important of the trilogy. But it was my favorite to watch.

See, I just don't think that the tights over suit would work in CBM anymore. Before the Nolan films maybe, but even then it's hard to believe that a man who runs around with his underwear outside his suit is intimidating. Even in Arkham Assylum and City, it was still something that bugged me. I do think that more emphasis on the symbol on the suit because thats supposed to be the real eye catcher.

@GambitFreak - Man, he looks silly. Lol. Maybe in future installments will get something closer to the look. But not in Nolans films.

Batman Begins. It actually felt like I was watching a Batman movie both times I saw it in theater.
