While many are already jumping like little kids on Christmas day, once again WB and Nolan Co. are not spilling anything. My buddy Jett over at Batman-on-Film got ahold of the guys over at Warner Bros. and they stated,

"Nothing is official when it comes to The Dark Knight Rises."

While the same marketing campaign is seemed to be followed from when The Dark Knight was in the highly anticipated pile of movies for 2008, I for one am uncertain. The Avengers drew first kool aid with their release of their Music Video trailer a couple of weeks back, now everyone's waiting for Nolan to strike back.

I'm not in no way in a rush to see what he has because i want it to be perfect and a good glimpse of what us Nolanites have to look forward to. We already know so much but too little of what exactly the film is about. A few days ago some looney named Movie Master caught a supposed view of this prologue and as good as it sounded, it sounded too fake.

In case you dont remember the prologue from TDK I have attached it below, but I am pretty sure y'all have seen it because it is the opening of TDK and one of the best opening sequences in the history of filmaking.

There was a Prologue for Batman Begins as well, people seem to forget, a ten minute preview of Batman Begins was shown on the WB network.

I love Nolan's Batman movies as much as the next guy but "one of the best opening sequences in the history of filmaking" is a bit of a stretch.

I guess people who hate Nolan are people who just like movies that show them pretty things. Nolan makes films that required to to actually think and be interested. His films are more than just entertainment and unlike Marvel who can't keep the continuity rite in the majority of their films or execute a worth while story, Nolans movies can be watched over and over again and still be engaging. Everyone has their own opinions but they don't cover the facts. Fact: Nolans make great films. I am not a so called "Nolanite" but im not some dick that doesn't give credit where credit is due. Dark Knight Rises will stomp the Avengers. What is the Avengers about again? O yea rite, we don't know and im sure it'll stay that way until we pay our 10 bucks to go see it. At least they have the grace to tell us about the damn story.

@NextHero08 I like a lot of Marvel's movies. Iron Man 2 sucked (relatively), but I think the Avengers will kick ass. Joss Whedon is a great storyteller. I think they should have hired him to write the script as well as direct. When the studio takes too much control from the director, we get Batman and Robin. As long as the studio lets Whedon keep creative control, it will be great.
