When it was simultaneously announced that Marion Cotillard would be playing "Miranda Tate", and Joseph Gordon-Levitt would portray "John Blake", many fans automatically assumed that these were cover names - surely the two actors wouldn't be playing two unknown characters in a movie like The Dark Knight Rises? Well, all these months later, it seems that you guys still aren't buying it! I asked you whether or not you think he's just playing the mysterious John Blake, and the results are as follows...

He's taking up the Batman mantle after Bane kills/cripples Bruce. It would play into the theme of Nolan's movies that Batman is not a man but a symbol that is bigger than Bruce and will always be around.

Ok question for the people sayin he's gonna strap on the batsuit while Bruce heals up. JGL seems like a smaller guy (maybe I'm wrong) but how's he physically gonna be able any different than any of us tryin on the batsuit? Maybe I got my size approximations wrong but I don't think JGL can pull off the Batsuit.

I doubt that he's going to be The Riddler. I hope that he's secretly the Joker. That would be sweet! But no one can top Heath's performance as the Joker, IMO.

Based on the history of Deadshot, I would guess he is using the name "John Blake" as a cover and will battle for Batman's place in Gotham, ultimately becoming his enemy.I know the name John Blake was used in a comic version (some little kid), but it is a great way to throw people off!!!
