Actually haters on either side get so extreme that even though they are loud and wordy, they don't represent the general populous. I visited the Nolan's board as a lurker and I gotta say that on the Avengers boards, a lot of people went from the "average hating" to straight up denial and even anger the better the Avengers did. They even closed the thread. IMO except for a few folks that were fair even if they didn't like the move, There were a ton of the posters and at least one mod were just silly beyond words and were at the very least in denile.

That said, I think this movie will do great and to me, it looks good. I can only expect a similar reaction from the extreme haters on this flick if it does extremely well. If this does well, and I really think it will, that will help shatter the idea that the third act in trilogy is the weak link. A successful comic movie is a great win for all comic fans in all camps.

im REALLY looking forward to this movie
but the MTV stuff did nothing for me...
as well as the photos of the shirtless Bane and Catwoman yesterday... did nothing for me.

nonetheless, i am STILL looking forward to this movie... not because of Nolan, but because, HELL, it's [frick]ing BATMAN!!

I wasn't totally impressed with the 3 trailers that we got but thought this sneak peak was awesome and so was the music used.

What I saw was the best movie of all time.

"LET THE GAMES BEGIN"

And if Hans Zimmer's brilliant soundtrack didn't give you an orgasm, somethings wrong with you.

Finally a soundtrack worthy of an excellent film, unlike Avengers which had a TERRIBLE soundtrack despite being such a great movie. What a shame

thewonderer, maybe in lalaland right now. Alan Silvestri's score to "Avengers" served the film well right where it's needed that's why it worked and complemented the film well.

as for the TDKR score, it'll probably contain another temp music from the RCP team which they where good at so i wasn't particularly expecting much from it even more so that james newton howard wouldn't be collaborating with him for that gig so minus that big plus factor which they made a good team at Batman Begins.

@ sirwinsalot

if you say so,look i expect the film will be good on the strength of the previous two,but saying that i don't like the look of bane & i think anne hathaway is a bad bit of casting & overall i believe this will be the worse of the nolan trilogy.

if that makes me a hater,so be it a hater i am.

what i think you can't handle people having a different opinion to you,not everyone is gonna be blown away by that footage.

i'm only liking what i've seen of the bat.

@DarthBob, you're in a TDKR article about a poll that says 88% of the people on this site LOVED what they saw...and you thought you wouldn't have people casting stones your way??...you, my friend, are the "tool".

I'm of two minds on this. One, I love BB and TDK. So I'm looking forward to this very much. But then there's that other part of me. When I saw Singer cast Bosworth as Lois Lane and Cambell cast Lively as Carol Farris I got a bad feeling. Unfortunately I was right both times (though in fairness, Returns wasn't completely horrible). When I saw Hathaway cast as Catwoman, I got that same feeling. Straining my ears to understand Bane in the trailers doesn't help to allay that feeling. And the trailers are kind of meh for me. Precious little happens in them except people looking off in a direction all pensive while quiet music plays and then a couple fight scenes. I hope my feeling is wrong this time cause I want this to be good.
