According to Batman-On-Film, there have been "whispers" that Warner Bros. are planning on a big screen adaptation of the popular animated series, Batman Beyond. It will apparently have nothing to do with Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy (so don't expect to see Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne mentoring Joseph Gordon-Levitt's John Blake) and will tonally be very similar to the small screen version of the story. Of course, this seems like an odd direction to take the Batman franchise in considering the fact that he's surely set to appear in Justice League, but it's hard to imagine too many fans not wanting to see this happen. Batman Beyond focuses on Terry McGinnis and his elderly mentor Bruce Wayne in Neo Gotham. What do you guys think of this rumour?
