SCOTT PILGRIM's Michael Cera Will Voice 'Robin' In The LEGO BATMAN Movie

It seems the solo outing for arguably the best character in The Lego Movie will indeed introduce a little yellow Boy Wonder. According to THR, Michael Cera (Arrested Development, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World) will voice Robin alongside Will Arnett as Batman...

Lego Batman has found its Robin! In what seems like a spot-on bit of voice-casting, THR report that Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World's Michael Cera has signed on to give life to the animated minifig version of the Boy Wonder in the flick, which is a spinoff from the mega-successful The Lego Movie. Cera's Arrested Development cast-mate Will Arnett will return to provide the voice of the Dark Knight, but we don't have any plot details just yet. Rumors have circulated that former live-action Batman actors such as Michael Keaton, Christian Bale and Adam West etc were being courted to cameo, but there's been nothing official on that.

Chris McKay will helm from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, with the original movie's directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller on board as producers. The Lego Batman Movie hits theaters on February 10, 2017.

I'm glad that he's been given a Batman related role, he was robbed of playing Joker in the Momoa Cinematic Universe…

@MrMartyMarvel - Funny thing is Jonah Hill would actually make a pretty good Penguin.

I really hope this movie uses Batman to be a parody of the overflow of comic book movies this day and age. Making fun of both marvel and DC, maybe make fun of how complicated the movie franchises are these days and MAYBE have a fight scene involving Justice league and the Avengers... Technically they can because they're not comic book characters. Heres hoping.

Which version of Robin? I think he would fit Damien the best. Because so many people don't like him and Michael Cera fits the annoying part perfectly.
