Having starred in not only movies like
Batman Begins and
The Dark Knight, but also
Driving Miss Daisy,
The Shawshank Redemption,
Million Dollar Baby and
Unforgiven, it's no surprise that Morgan Freeman is now joining the likes of Walt Disney, Anthony Hopkins, Steven Spielberg and Robert De Niro as a recipient of the Cecil B DeMille Award for lifetime achievement.

Man of Steel actress Amy Adams who described Freeman as
"one of the most recognisable figures in American cinema." She added:
"He has amazing screen presence, an unmatchable voice and quiet dignity, and has created some of the most memorable portrayals ever recorded on film."
