Cool video! I missed some things from the trailer.
In that shot of Bane looking down at the bloodied bruise, you can see that he is in a prison of sorts, reminicient of the one in Batman Begins. So I think Bruce will be spending sometime in Asia.
I did not notice the thing about the well. Makes sense. Clearly shows that Bane(like in the comics) figures out Batman's identity and breaks him physically and mentally. That's probably the league descending into the well. The WB released photos from today show Bane challenging Batman in his own Batcave

Thanks for watching Supes17! Nice observation about the prison.

I think the Dent memorial and Bruce Wayne with a cane are right after TDK, but with the people saying Gordon is being fired is in the 8 years. Bruce Wayne is limping because of the fall he took at the end of TDK...hence the cane

makes sense to me^
He limped to his batpod at the end of TDK

But he still had his cane in that shot where Thalia removes her mask and smiles at him

Interesting thoughts artistman and deeerrr. Thanks for watching. The cane is quite possibly immediately afterward. I also thought it could be when he's recovering from the fight with Bane. Those guys talking about Gordon is probably at the same party with Selina Kyle.

Ya he has the cane there, but we dont' know the relationship between him and "thalia". So it still could be in the near future after TDK.

Also, I think that since he is not being the Batman over the 8 year span, and it has been stated that Miranda's character is "a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father's philanthropic endeavors for Gotham". So he starts spending alot of money, donations, parties etc. and this makes the lower class/burglers take notice, the selina kyle speach, and bane, the not letting bruce wayne die until gotham is ashes scene take notice and go after bruce wayne. I think Mirandas character will be more like the guy in TDK who sees the tumberlers plans but is actually successful at exploit bruce wanye... lots of typing

i like your analysis, especially when u go deeper into Batman/Bane's similarities. Im not 100% sure Bane will be with the League of Shadows, though. He seems a bit too radical even for them, but i could be wrong. I couldn't help but notice you kinda skipped over the scenes of "John Blake" and "Miranda Tate" any reason why? given the speculation over their possible dual identities its a strange thing to leave out of an analysis

thanks for watching charlie. not much reason why i skipped over them. it's just that their appearance in the trailer didn't give much new info about the role they will be playing and i didn't think i had much to contribute that hadn't already been said in that area. as for bane, my tentative theory is that he's a rogue member of the league of shadows. he could have some history with talia who is now in control and doesn't approve of what he wants to do, therefore leading her to serve as an ally to bruce.

I want to know who the shadowy figure on the balcony is and also who the person getting pulled from under the dresser in the dark is. I really have no guess for either. Maybe the shadowy figure is Bane? But I feel like the trailer is showing lots of Bane so they're probably teasing someone else? Also at this point what do we all think about the Gary Oldman comments about an 'old, old villain'? Was that just a Catwoman mix up or is there still some big reveal in store?

I think IGN suggested the shadowy figure was Bruce. As for the Gary Oldman comment, I'm not familiar with it. Can you post a link to the interview?

@goatmilk, I believe the "old old villain" is in reference to Ras

@goatmilk. the person under the dresser is likely a rich person, since its during Selinas speech about the rich getting whats coming, id wager its not Bruce though, hes not one to hide from danger. im thinking the shadowy balcony figure is probaly Bruce, Bane, or Ra's. If that figure is there during the Harvey Dent memorial like it appears, then id wager Bane or Ra's, as, since it appears to be at Wayne Manor, im sure Bruce would be attending the ceremony. i also think the "old, old villain" is a reference to Ra's.
